TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Syrian oppositions’ local sources confirmed that Almayadin, a suburban town of Deir ez-Zor, was hit. Deir ez-Zor has been occupied by Daesh since 2013, and is deemed to be Daesh capital after Raqqah.
Deir ez-Zor 24 news website, also, reported that some missiles hit Almayadin with no aircraft seen in sky, that is they were Iranian missiles.
The IRGC fired medium-range ground-to-ground missiles from Iran’s western provinces of Kermanshah and Kordestan on Sunday in response to the recent Daesh-claimed terror attacks in Tehran, which killed 18 people and injured 50 more.
The IRGC noted that a large number of terrorists have been killed in the attacks, in which a large amount of terrorists' weapons, ammunition, and equipment were also destroyed.
