Iran identifies elements involved in twin terrorist attacks

TEHRAN, June 8, YJC - Iranian Intelligence Ministry said the country has identified elements behind Wednesday twin terrorist attacks at Iranian Parliament and Imam Khomeini’s mausoleum.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The terrorists names include Qayyum, Abu Jahad, Ramin, Saryas and Fereidoun, the ministry said in a statement.
 
"Terrorist elements involved in attacks at Imam Khomeini’s mausoleum and parliament were completely identified following intelligence monitoring. Relevant cells were also identified,” the statement read.

Daesh operational team involved in the twin attacks included 5 elements with terrorist history linked to Takfiri and Wahabi groups who had been recruited by Daesh, left the country (Iran) and had been involved in the terrorist group’s crimes in Mosul and Raqa, the statement continued.
 
The elements entered Iran few months ago and were led by a Daesh high-ranking commander Abu Aisha and intended to practice terrorist operations in religious Iranian cities, it continued.
 
They fled the country after complete dismantle of the group and killing of key elements including Abu Aisha, the ministry said in a statement.
 
The ministry's website released the first names and photos of five terrorists, but it did not disclose their surnames due to "some social and security considerations.”
