TEHRAN, June 7, YJC - An expert of US issues says in case the “Countering Iran’s Destabilizing Actions” bill approved in the US senate, then Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is extensively violated.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - In response to the question of whether the US approval of "Countering Iran’s Destabilizing Actions” bill is a case of JCPOA violation, the Iranian expert of US issues Foad Izadi said "certainly the approval of the bill violates JCPOA, and it has provoked John Kerry’s protests”.
"The Americans exploded a bomb recently in Afghanistan named as ‘the mother of bombs’ and this new sanction is also the mother of the sanctions written in extensive details” Izadi added noting that this US’s violation of act is not a usual one and will makes the JCPOA fruitless agreement.
He asserted that if, formerly, the US sanctioned a person or a firm, there was a time fortune for another person or firm to come to work, but the bill says that if a person or a firm is sanctioned and then is replaced by another person or firm, the replaced are also automatically sanctioned.
Noting that according to the agreement there was no decision made about the "cancellation of sanctions” but "suspension of the sanctions”, he said that the sanctions were supposed to be cancelled after 8 years provided that Iran commits to its obligation during the term.
"what is happened with the new text approved is that Iran is confronted with new clauses, despite its commitment to its obligations, and whoever the US President is in the very 8 years, must write and sign that the cancellation of such a sanction is in line with the US interests and does not put the country’s security at stake; this make things difficult for the US president” Izadi said asserting that the new clauses are certain violation of the JCPOA.
