TEHRAN, June 6, YJC - Iran called on Persian Gulf neighbors to settle differences peacefully and through political means.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi said the only way to settle differences among regional countries and Qatar’s three neighbors is political and peaceful means as well as transparent talks.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran raises concerns over recent developments in relations of southern Persian Gulf neighbors. It expresses hope that the problems will be settled,” he said.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran calls on all involved parties in recent disagreements in southern Persian Gulf to follow keep self-constraint and take steps to reduce tensions and go back to calm.”
He also said that instrumental use of sanctions in the world today is a reject, unacceptable and failed approach.
