مدتی است که پدیده ریزگردها به ویژه در شهر‌های جنوبی کشور به صورت داستان دنباله دار تبدیل شده است و این ریزگردها نفس آن‌ها را تنگ کرده و باعث آلودگی هوای این منطقه شده است. این گرد و غبار به حدی است که زندگی شهروندان جنوبی را مختل کرده است به طوری که زاویه دید آن‌ها به طور محسوسی کاهش پیدا کرده است.
