Tehran, YJC. Iranian actor Anoushirvan Arjmand passed away on Sunday in the Iranian capital, Tehran, at the age of 73.
Arjmand gave way to death at Tehran’s Parsian Hospital on December 14, after
a heart attack which he had suffered in November.
Arjmand was born in 1941 in Zahedan, Sistan-Baluchestan province, southeast
of Iran.
He began his career in acting as a stage and screen actor during the
1960s in the city of Mashhad in Iran's northeast.
He was renowned for his roles in a number of religious and historical TV
series remarkable performances and on the theater stage.
He played roles in many movies such as The Rule of the Game by Ahmadreza
Motamedi, Duel by Ahmadreza Darvish and religious TV series, including those of
Imam Ali and Mokhtarnameh.
A funeral ceremony is to be hosted for him by Tehran’s Vahdat Hall on
Tuesday, December16.
