The Cabinet of Ministers has passed a decision on the approval of the Charter and structure of National Nuclear Research Centre CJSC, APA reports.
The National Nuclear Research Centre CJSC is operating under the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies.
The authorized capital of the company makes AZN 3 million and consists of the nominal value of its shares. The authorized capital consists of 300,000 ordinary shares with nominal value of AZN 10. The structure of the National Nuclear Research Centre CJSC includes secretariat, office, representative offices and branches, subsidiary companies of the National Nuclear Research Centre CJSC.
The primary purpose of the National Nuclear Research Center CJSC is to carry out complex measures in nuclear sciences, nuclear technologies, and nuclear energy, develop nuclear technologies on peaceful purposes in line with modern standards and national interests, ensure its usage, improve the material-technical base of nuclear sciences and technologies, expanding scientific research and strengthen the capacity of high-qualified personnel. To achieve these goals, the center will operate on several fronts.
The Center’s Board of Directors is the collegial executive body of the center. The Board of Directors is comprised of three persons – director of the company, appointed and dismissed by the Azerbaijani President and two deputy directors, appoint and dismissed by the ministry. The Board of Directors is led by the center director.
