Tehran, YJC. A friendship group from the Iranian Majlis headed to Moscow on Sunday.
Headed by the Sabzevar representative, the delegation
consists of Astara representative Safar Naimi Raz, Astaneh representateive
Mohammad Hossein qorbani, Esfarayen representative Hadi Qavami, Tafresh and
Ashtian representative Abbas Salahi, and Aligudarz representative Mohammad
Taghi Tavakoli.
The group was invited to Moscow by the Duma’s deputy speaker
in line with policies to boost cooperation between Iran and Russia.
In their four-day stay in Russia, the Iranian delegation
will meet the Duma’s deputy speaker, the chairman of the Federation Council of
Russia, the economy development minister, and head of the Foreign Policy
Committee of the Duma to discuss mutual as well as regional concerns.
The Iranian lawmakers will also visit some industrial and
cultural sites as well as Iranian-nationals in Russia.
