Tehran, YJC. Iranian official says the ‘great victory’ of the resistance of Gaza has to be celebrated.

The Secretary of the Expedience Discernment Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran speaking in interview with Alalam channel provided comments on the ongoing developments in Palestine.

Asked if Iran continues to transfer its missile-making know-how to Palestine, Mohsen Rezaei said "How do you think the missiles are made? They are made thanks to the technology given to Palestine. We are happy to see that the brave Palestinian nation have so many technicians, engineers, and educated people in Gaza who are making their own weapons with bare hands.”

"The resistance needs to think of people’s lives from now on rather than think only of war. They can build tunnels in Gaza to send people into as soon as war is started. This is a new job that Palestinians needs to start. The resistance will take long to succeed,” he maintained.

He further said "In a letter to Mr. Rouhani I demanded that Islamic countries should provide Gaza with air defense.”

The Secretary of the Expediency Discernment Council stated "We say resistance until referendum; that is, [the Palestinians must] resist until the day of the referendum when each Palestinian comes about with one ballot and decides for Palestine.”

"I would like to be the first one to congratulate the Palestinian nation on such resistance. The resistance militants gained a great victory,” Mohsen Rezaei maintained.

The former IRGC commander added "If Israel attacks from now on, it should not expect the militants to stay in their trenches anymore. They will come out and attack. There are 1.8 million people in Gaza. If you subtract women, children, and the elderly, there are around 600 able-bodied men. If only 100 thousand of them move, Israel will fall.”

"A new phase has begun,” he said, adding "We see that south African countries say the same things we used to say 20 years ago. I do not understand why Egypt and Saudi Arabia acted like that. Had there been some deal among Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt prior to the attack? Saudi Arabia and Egypt have to talks with the Islamic world and they have to be able to defend against the things that are said about them.”
