Tehran, YJC. Vahidi has reiterated the Supreme Leader’s assertion that the West Bank needs to be armed for resistance.
Magor General Ahmad Vahidi, former commander of the Quds Corps of the IRGC, speaking in an interview with Tasnim news agency pointed to the Supreme Leader’s recent speech where ayatollah Khamenei asserted that the West Bank needs to be armed and said "Arming the West Bank is a very practical insight by the Supreme Leader whose implementation will change the ongoing developments in Palestine.”
"It will turn over a bright chapter in the resistance of the Palestinian people to arm the West Bank,” he stated, adding "Islamic states as well as those who love the people of Palestine have to do their best to arm the West Bank. They need to arm not only the West Bank but the entire 1948 occupied lands.”
The former Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics said "As the Supreme Leader stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran will use its all powers to support Palestine, it is expected that due action is taken to implement his insight in arming the West Bank.”
