Tehran, YJC. Official says Iran supports political stability in Ukraine.

Head of the Strategic Research Center of the Expediency Discernment Council of Iran speaking in a conference called Energy Issues between China and Russia and Lessons for Iran said "It can be said that a new order is going to emerge in the world.”

He said "What China has gained in advanced technology and the nuclear science basically comes from Russia. But now things are different and China looks different.”

"China has its own specific stability. It is the first in the world in terms of economy and economic growth. It proves that economy can grow free of Western formulas. China has its specific formula. It used the formula in combination with local characteristics to succeed.”

"Russia as well is going its own way with new features and with the policies of Mr. Putin. China has also created the Shanghai Cooperation Organization,” he further added.

Ali Akbar Velayati also pointed to Ukraine developments and said "The West provided Russia with an alibi. They had not thought that Russia would do what it did. Therefore, I think, Russia was the winner in the Ukraine scuffle.”

"We have our own stability and we would like for Ukraine’s problems to be resolved. Problems in Ukraine only make people’s lives harder. Therefore we do not look for the disintegration of Ukraine, rather we would not withhold any help to bring peace to Ukraine.”
