Tehran, YJC. Prominent clergy says the country possesses lots of resources all gone waste for slouchiness and fraud.

Grand ayatollah Abdollah Javadi Amoli who was speaking in a meeting on Saturday said "In this country we got everything. What we don’t have is capability and honesty. What we do have is embezzlement and ineptitude.”

Pointing to the verses of the Quran regarding the importance of work he said "Working and making effort are not cancelled out even on Fridays after the Friday prayer. The holy Quran outlined finance and economy and resistance. If we would like to stand up against enemies there is everything in this country, and they are abundant. But the resistance culture has to be defined.”

"Let you know that the country’s strength is in its spine. If people’s spine has to be straight their pockets have to be full. A nation whose pockets are empty has a broken spine. They call the needy as they do because he cannot resist,” the ayatollah exclaimed.

Pointing to the country’s resources in various sections, Amoli said "Forage has nothing to do with the nuclear energy. It takes some spunk to produce it. There are all these lands and resources that are fit for producing forage. Why are meat and dairy products so expensive?”
