Tehran, YJC. Air Defense’s Sabbahi says last year Iran has had to warn approaching foreign aircrafts ten times previous years.

in Command of the Khatam ul-Anbiya Air Defense Base said "In the last three
years, the air defense base has 
developed in tactical measures compared to the
past. Last fall our tactical actions and warnings to foreign aircrafts
increased ten times as compared to 3 years before. The surveillance and
detection sphere of the air defense base is one of the things that the Supreme
Leader is happy with. God has helped us make great advancement there.”
Brigadier General Alireza Sabbahi who was speaking in a meeting on the occasion of the Army’s Day on Sunday said "This year only part of the capabilities of the air defense base was shown on the Army’s Day. Such achievements have taken away the enemy’s ability to make any move.”
He added "During a visit the Supreme Leader lately made, His Holiness ordered some very important measures in relation to air defense. One of these was for the base to pay utmost attention to electronic warfare and electronic defense. His Majesty was very pleased with the air defense base.”
