Tehran, YJC. Larijani says Western nuclear negotiators must not be feared since they are empty vessels which only make great sound.

Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani who was speaking at a conference in Tehran on Saturday said "As for the nuclear case we hear them talk bombastically in the sidelines of the negotiations. Of course we know their nature. There are many empty vessels among them. One has to know them and not be taken in by them.”

The two sides want to talk and we are there for talks, but at the height of talks they become so pompous. They do so because they want to weaken our morale, because they do not know our culture and believe that pomposity will change something inside us, Larijani stated.

"We tell them not to talk their heads off and be more reasonable. This is our way,” the Majlis speaker added.

He added "Some believe that if we didn’t have such perseverance and changed our way, the doors to development would open to us. Well, that is some shallow outlook.”
