Putin says to do best for nuclear talks to succeed

Tehran, YJC. Russian and Iranian presidents have discussed concerns over the telephone.
In conversation with Iran’s president Rouhani on Thursday evening, Vladimir Putin emphasized efforts to strenuously pursue agreements made with Iran in Bishkek.

Also addressing cooperation in the economic section, the Russian president said "Mutual cooperation between Iran and Russia must progress rapidly and I will to my best to expand economic relations between the two countries.”

Stressing Iran’s constructive role in nuclear talks with the Six Majors he asserted "We will do all we can so that the Iranian nuclear case may bear its final fruit.”

The Russian president also invited Rouhani to attend the Caspian Sea littoral states’ meeting which is going to be held in Astrakhan in September.

The two president also discussed the region’s latest developments including the ongoing situations in Ukraine, asserting commitment to more cooperation on regional affairs.
