Qatar parliament speaker: Israeli killing of Palestinians against international regulations

Tehran, YJC. The Speaker of Qatar’s Consultative Assembly has condemned Israel for killing Palestinians.

Muhammad bin Mubarak al-Khalifi who is attending the 9th Organization of Islamic Cooperation Parliamentary Union on Wednesday said "The summit is being held at a time when Israel continues its massacre of the Palestinian people and developing its settlements, which are not only a violation to Jerusalem and Palestinian citizens, but outright disregard for international regulations.”

"Qatar’s stance is well known. We support the Palestinian people. The Qatari Emir makes effort in support of Palestine and in following helps gone to the people of Palestine in international arenas and redeeming the rights of the Palestinians,” he emphasized.

The Speaker of Qatar’s Consultative Assembly also pointed to the Syrian crisis and stated that the country needs national conciliation.

Al-Khalifi also directed attention to Muslims killed in Somalia and said "We have to defend their rights and those of Myanmar so that the genocide which has taken thousands of people may end. Those who do such massacres believe in no religion or value.”

He also added "Besides endorsing inviolable rights to nuclear power, we emphasize the fact that the Middle East must get rid of mass destruction weapons, including the Israeli regime. There must be no double standards here.”
