Tehran, YJC. Free Iranian Soldiers has turned into a trend on social media after 5 soldiers were taken hostage by terrorists.

On Saturday the terrorist group named Jeish ul Adl posted a photo on Twitter showing 5 Iranian soldiers taken hostage.

The picture depicted the soldiers handcuffed sitting on the ground with a Jesh ul Adl flag behind them.

#FreeIranianSoldiers quickly turned into a hot phrase on social media, surpassing Iranian profiles to become an international concern.

The soldiers were taken hostage while on duty at Iran’s border with Pakistan and taken into Pakistan’s soil.

In an attack two months ago, the same terrorist group had killed 14 Iranian border guards.

The US State Department Spokesman Alan Eyre, whose country Iran blames for supporting the terrorist group, condemned the terrorist act with a post on his Facebook wall calling it an unethical, unjustifiable act worthy of contempt everywhere.
