Tehran, YJC. Zarif says in the sidelines of Iran-P5+1 nuclear talks, the country will hold separate meetings with the US as well.

"During the next round of talks there will be meetings both with the entire P5+1 members as a group and in the bilateral form,” stated Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Javad Zarif, providing comments on the upcoming Iran-Six Majors nuclear talks.

Asserting that Iran’s negotiation team will not change, he said "In the future talks, the negotiation team will make use of consultants as the occasion warrants. So if the talks pivot around bank exchange or oil trade we will use banking consultants and Oil Ministry consultants, so the negotiation team will only gain strength with consultants.”

Pointing to reports that the next round of talks is going to be held in New York, Zarif stated "No decision has yet been made on that, but New York, Geneva, and Vienna are the most important options as the host. But the negotiation team will only hold talks in the UN headquarters.”

Asked if Iran will discuss other issues with the US after settling the nuclear case, the Foreign Minister said "Right now the talk between Iran and the US is the nuclear case and the Iranian team is considering only this issue for the time being.”
