روستای طرز از توابع شهرستان راور استان کرمان است. استان کرمان از تنوع آب و هوایی مورد توجه همگان است با توجه به اینکه در بخش کویری کشورمان واقع شده، اما قسمت‌های مختلف این استان دارای آب و هوای متنوعی است. به طور مثال نواحی شمال و شمال غربی آن خشک و در جنوب و جنوب شرقی آن هوا گرم و مرطوب و همچنین قسمت جنوب غربی و مرکز آن سرد و کوهستانی است.
