TEHRAN, April 4, YJC - Iran on Monday strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Russia’s Saint Petersburg metro station, and renewed its call for joint global fight against terrorism.

"We once again remind the necessity for joint international efforts in order for seriously confronting terrorism regardless of motivations driving it and believe that there is no way to uproot these violent crimes except serious resolve and determination by all states and international bodies.”

In the wake of the very blast in the St Petersburg metro system at least 10 people were killed and 50 more injured 

There were blasts in two metro carriages at two stations, St Petersburg emergency services said.
An unidentified explosive device went off on a train after leaving Sennaya Ploshchad station and heading to the Technology Institute station, Russia's National Anti-Terrorist Committee said.
Russian security agencies found and defused a second explosive device at the Ploschad Vosstaniya station, one of the city's busiest stations, the committee also said.
