Iran is standing among the world’s top 10 countries in terms of producing vaccines for humans, animals and poultry, said Head of Iran’s Razi Vaccine & Serum Research Institute (RVSRI) Hamid Kohram.
He said the institute is the most important producer of vaccines for humans, animals and poultry in the Middle East.
Although countries like Turkey, Malaysia and Pakistan have done well in making vaccines, but their progress was limited only to animals vaccine and did not cover human and poultry areas, he added.
50 percent of Iran’s poultry vaccines are made by the institute, Kohram said.
