A number of Iranian films would be shown in the 15th Dhaka International Film Festival.
Several Iranian films to be showcased in Dhaka int’l festivalThe event is scheduled for January 12-20.

"Life and A day” by Saeed Roustaie, ‘Malaria’ by Parviz Shahbazi, "Daughter” by Reza Mir-Karimi and "Paris-Tehran” by Kaveh Oveisi would be shown in Asian Competition line-up of the event.

In Review section, "Close-up”, "Taste of Cherry”, "The Wind Will Carry Us” and "Certified Copy” all by Iranian late director Abbas Kia-Rostami are to be shown.

The World Cinema section is hosting "Til Ahmad’s Coming” by Sadeq Saghighi, "Here One Does Not Die” by Hossein Kondori and "Hail and Sun” by Reza Karimi.

The Children and Teenage section is also showing "Identity” by Mehdi Sabt-Rasoul, "Window” by Rahbar Qanbari, "Valderama” by Abbas Amini.

The short and independent film section is showcasing "The Old Man and Bicycle” by Salim Moezi and ‘One Day Later’ by Ehsan Hemmati.

"Night Shift” by Niki Karimi and "Nahid” by Ida Panahandeh are to be shown in women filmmakers section.
