Monday, 20 June 2022 (YJC)_Iranian supreme leader blamed the West's plan to undermine countries’ independence in the Ukraine war.
During a meeting with the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei criticized the West's plan to undermine countries’ independence and its desire to expand the NATO in the Ukraine war.
He referred to the deep historical and cultural ties between Iran and Kazakhstan and noted “to expand cooperation between the two countries in various fields, particularly regional cooperation is a need.”
“To develop relations, coordination in political and economic issues is necessary. Intensifying efforts to follow up on agreements and to implement them is a goal,” he added.
Regarding the issues of Ukraine, he said “the main problem is that the West is seeking to expand NATO wherever they can without taking anything into consideration. To carefully monitor and examine matters is a must.”
Iranian president Seyed Ebrahim Rayeesi also participate this meeting.
