Friday, 14 January 2022 (YJC)_ A member of the Iranian Parliament said that relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia are being revived.
In a twitter message, a member of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, Jalil Rahimi Jahan-Abadi announced that relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia are being revived.
“The relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia are being revived and embassies of the two countries are preparing to reopen,” he wrote while noting that these steps will have significant impacts on reducing regional tensions and increasing the cohesion of the Islamic world.
Prior to this, in an interview with Al Jazeera Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian announced that Iran and Saudi Arabia had four rounds of positive and constructive talks in Iraq and the ties between the two are going to be normal.
