In a telephone conversation with the former president of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian renewed the country’s support for an all-inclusive government in Afghanistan.
“Ian’s policy is based on dialogue between all groups to form an inclusive government in Afghanistan,” he said while adding that “It must represent the ethnic and demographic mixture of the country.”
He went on to say that Iran wants a war-free and terrorism-free Afghanistan and added “Afghanistan can only achieve lasting peace this way.”
Amir-Abdollahian also said the country will keep its borders and border crossings with Afghanistan open to get through the current situation in the country while blaming the US for the chaotic situation of Afghanistan for the past two decades.
He Finally added that “The will of the Afghan people will put an end to this situation.”
