Vice Executive President Mohammad Shariatmadari will attend the inauguration ceremony of Afghanistan’s president-elect Ashraf Ghani on Monday.
Departing Tehran on Monday, Shariatmadari will represent Iran Afghanistan’s presidential swear-in.
Ghani’s inauguration will be held on Monday in Afghanistan’s presidential palace.
Around 200 foreign guests are invited to the ceremony.
President-elect Ghani and runner-up Abdullah Abdullah agreed after long disputes over the elections results that they will share power with the latter as the vice executive president.
