TEHRAN, Jun 30 -US President Donald Trump has traveled to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) separating the two Koreas, where he is expecting to meet Kim Jong-un, after making a reportedly impromptu decision during a trip to South Korea to meet with the North Korean leader.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) -Trump was touring the DMZ accompanied by South Korean President Moon Jae-in on Sunday ahead of the expected meeting, AFP reported.
A day earlier, he joined a press conference with Moon, saying he had sent out a last-minute invitation to Kim for the meeting over Twitter toward the end of his trip to the South.
“I’ll be meeting with Chairman Kim. I look forward to it very much. I look forward to seeing him. We’ve developed a very good relationship,” Trump told the presser.
