Tehran, YJC. Rasaei says wherever the Geneva accord leads it will be associated with the Rouhani administration.
Lawmaker Hamid Rasaei who was speaking at a meeting in
Mashhad on Monday regarding the Geneva nuclear deal said "There is no win-win
situation. If fact through this agreement Western countries are playing Iran along.
Accordingly, the other side has agreed that in case the final step of the Geneva
agreement is taken, it will remove all the UN sanctions on the nuclear case,
while parts of the sanctions that have to do with issues such as human rights
will remain in place.”
The clergy added "The Geneva accord proves in fact that the government lacks a competitive morale, so much so that in this agreement we give over our information to the other side easily which raised some eyebrows among the Americans.”
"Thanks to what the 11th administration has done, the Westerners have grown bolder and more demanding today, so much so that they won’t allow the Iranian ambassador to the UN. I believe that the government must not back down before US pressure to replace its representative to the UN,” the lawmaker asserted.
The Tehran representative to the Majlis then stated "The Foreign Minister must not be interpellate because the accord has met failure and if he is removed, some would believe that if he had remained the negotiations would have progressed. Of course if Zarif has made any move against the Supreme Leader’s red lines causing processing units to be shut down, I doubt if the nation would allow such a person to stay in the country.”
