TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The ceremony was attended by Quranic, religious, cultural and political figures, including a number of Iranian parliamentarians.
Abdol Hadi Feqhizadeh, the Culture and Islamic Guidance Ministry’s Quran and Etrat deputy and head of the exhibition, in an address highlighted the features of this year’s event.
He said consultations have been made with experts on all aspects of holding the expo.
He added that strengthening the popular aspects of the Quranic event and attracting the partnership of various institutions and organization has been on the agenda of the policy-making council.
According to the official, representatives of ten countries are present in this edition of the expo.
He went on to say that efforts have been made to enhance the quality of specialized forums held every night at the exhibition.
Syria, Bahrain, Yemen and Palestine are among the countries taking take part in the expo.
It is annually organized by the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in the holy month of Ramadan.
The exhibition is aimed at promoting Quranic concepts and developing Quranic activities.
It showcases the latest Quranic achievements in the country as well as a variety of products dedicated to the promotion of the Holy Book.
