Iran’s
coach Julio Velasco speaking to reporters after the match said "The games
against Brazil and the US were much difficult. I usually give my players examples
from these two teams. Today our players proved that they believed in
themselves. This was a very important victory for Iran.”
"We
defended well and did better in counterattacks in the fourth set. The bench
also appeared with high morale which was why we won the game,” he asserted.
