Tehran, YJC. Former Parliament Speaker says Iran is willing to change its approach to the US if the US does the same.
Former
Speaker of Majlis Qolamali Haddad Adel answering a question regarding Iran’s
approach to the US after recent developments said "We first have to see what
the Americans will do, since such relations are mutual in nature and you must
not so much greet someone who does not desire to come to you.”
Providing
comments on the recent Iran-Six Majors negotiations and the secrecy of the
content of the talks, he said "This is one of the ways to improve the progress.
One must not suspect the diplomatic system by basing one’s judgment on what Zionist
media say.”
He added
"It’s not important whether the talks are secret or not. What is important is
for the Iranian negotiator to stress the nation’s rights and have national
interests in their minds. Talks may be secret at times and open at others;
these are to further the affair. What is important is the decisions made.
