TEHRAN, December 12 - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani reiterated that Jerusalem al-Quds would be the capital city of Palestinian government.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “Jerusalem al-Quds will be the capital city of Palestinian government and we will never forget this important and holy goal,” he told reporters before leaving for Turkey.
Rouhani is going to take part in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (IOC) summit on Jerusalem al-Quds on Wednesday.
He called the US President’s decision to relocate its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem al-Quds ‘illegal and wrong’.
Rouhani noted that the decision by Trump would be beginning of new tension in the region, adding, Muslims and Palestinians would have a great victory in case Muslims keep unity and solidarity and stand against this decision.
