TEHRAN, November 21 - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said close and complete implementation of the nuclear deal is an important test for cooperation in international field.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - In a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron, the two sides discussed issues of mutual interests as well as key regional and international matters.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to expand bilateral ties with France in bilateral, regional and international fields based on mutual respect and interests, Rouhani said in the phone call.
“In Iran’s view, on one hand complete and close implementation of the JCPOA is an important test for cooperation in the international fields. On the other hand, adding some parts to the JCPOA or removing parts of which will cause complete collapse of the agreement.”
He said that adventures made by inexperienced princes in the region are detrimental to the entire region. “We are against adventures and discord in the region and we believe that France can play a realistic, impartial and constructive role through keeping its independent view and given its position in the region.”
Macron, for his part, stressed boosting Tehran-Paris ties in all fields, saying that all countries should make efforts to preserve the agreement and that France abides by the deal completely.
“French government has done its best to help banks and traders to improve bilateral ties with Iran”.
He also said that Paris is after boosting stability, strengthening stability and reducing hostile activities in the region.
