TEHRAN, October 22 - Iran’s iron ore exports rose by over 54 percent in the first 6 months of Iranian calendar year (started on March 20, 2017), comparing to similar period in the year before.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Iran has exported over 8.690 million tons of iron ore over the six months worth $491.820 million, Iran’s Customs Organization reported.
The amount includes 14.8 percent of weight and 2.32 percent of value of Iran’s whole exports.
Iran exported 8.1.8 million tons of iron ore worth $319.253 million over similar period last year which included 13.22 percent of weight and 1.5 percent of value of Iran’s exports.
Iran has exported iron ore to Germany, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Slovenia, Afghanistan, Germany, the UAE, Turkmenistan, Turkey, China, Iraq and India.
$476 million out of the total $492 million of Iran’s iron ore exports in this year belongs to China.
