TEHRAN, October 11 - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani reiterated that developing mutual relations with African countries is one of strategies of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “Tehran welcomes widening and expanding bilateral relations and cooperation with all African countries, including Tanzania as a friendly country,” he said in a meeting with
Tanzanian Foreign Minister Augustine Mahiga here in Tehran.
Tanzania is a gate for Iran’s access to eastern African market, and Iran’s government is after expanding relations with all friendly countries across the world, especially in Africa.
He also stressed promoting bilateral relations between the two countries in banking and financial domains.
Augustine Mahiga, for his part, said, his country is resolute to expand bilateral ties with Iran in all fields.
“Tanzania welcomes Iranian companies’ participation in its developmental plans,” he said.
Iranian products could be sent to eastern Africa via Tanzania, he said, stressing his country’s resolution to expand economic cooperation with Iran.
