TEHRAN, YJC. Sharifzadeh says that the governmental side is hopeful to the last moment that Mashaei will be qualified for candidacy.
Bahman Sharifzadeh said
in an interview that not endorsing anybody in elections is not equal to not
voting, adding "We will vote for someone with more agenda and less bias against
the government.”
Sharifzadeh added "We will not lose hope until the last moment that Mashaei may appear on the electoral scene. As Mr. Ahmadinejad said we will not lose hope to the last moment, because there is some basis to our hope.”
The activist stated that Mashaei will be a gift from God, adding "But we do not consider God’s blessing with Mashaei’s coming, but consider it as equal to the continuation of his trend whether he is to run for presidency or not.”
"We believe that wisdom and the thought of spring do not disappear because the discourse is in accordance with that of the Islamic Revolution.”
