همه ساله پیاده روی اربعین حسینی از اول ماه صفر یعنی ۲۰ روز مانده به اربعین به صورت رسمی آغاز می‌شود و موکب‌ها در مسیر‌ها مستقر می‌شوند و زائران نیز پیاده روی در این مسیر عاشقی را آغاز می‌کنند. اما تعدادی از زائران به عشق و ارادتی که نسبت به سالار شهیدان اباعبدالله الحسین (ع) دارند شور و حال پیاده روی اربعین در وجود آنها شعله ور می‌شودو مراسم پیاده روی را از شهر‌های خودشان و زودتر از موعد آغاز می‌کنند.
کاروان پیاده روی اربعین شهر کنگان از توابع استان بوشهر پیاده روی خود را چند روزی است آغاز کرده اند و اکنون به شهر چغادک رسیدند. اهالی چغادک از زائران استقبال باشکوهی کردند و از آنها پذیرایی به عمل آوردند.
